What are your hobbies?
Other than playing guitar, listening to music, playing video games, reading manga and whatever else interests me at the moment.

Why did you become a musician?
It was completely by chance. I had some friends in elementary school who played instruments and so I randomly decided to get some guitar lessons (yeah, I know, so original!). I was around the age of 9 at that time. Then I discovered metal and here I am now.

Who are your musical influences?
Starting from the beginning of my musical career with Green Day and Sum 41 to bands like Dragonforce, Sonata Arctica, Twilight Force, Power Quest, Galneryus, Angra, Victorius and also Dream Theater, Symphony X, Kamelot.

Guitar wise my main influences are: Herman Li and Sam Totman, Michael Angelo Batio, Joe Satriani, Kiko Loureiro and Marty Friedman.

What other musical projects have you worked on?
Nothing serious before Spielfreude.

What’s your favorite Spielfreude song?
My song of course… just kidding, I enjoy them all equally.

What are your goals with Spielfreude?
Writing enjoyable music, having fun playing it live and making it my job.
